About the Author

I love to travel and those who travel with me say I’m pretty good at it. I loathe walking past people in a museum with their nose buried in a guide book oblivious to the actual things around them and I think that money and stuff insulates you from experiences so I pack light and try to budget even if I don’t have to. I try to write things as I figure them out, creating my own little black book.

I blog to create a community of people who get something out of what I put out there and to share ideas. I value other bloggers and my readers who live unconventional lives, who think outside the box and who are independent minded travelers and adventurers.

As for when I’m not traveling, I’m an engineer with a degree in russian studies as well. My work life is classic Dilbert.
